Week in Review

If you haven't already done so, make sure you've read the observations in Matthew pretty thoroughly. The comments on Mark and Luke will build on them.
Bonus Questions:
When you get to the last verse of the book of Matthew, you find the Resurrected Jesus telling the disciples to teach people everything He commanded. So the logical thing to ask is: What did Jesus command? The logical place to start looking is at the beginning of the book.
"What were the first commands/teachings of Jesus in Matthew?"
"What were the first commands He gave the disciples?"
If you can answer thess, you will understand the motivation for discipleship, and why there are so few reproductive disciples.
I answer it in the sermon on Survey of Discipleship, part 2 of Daniel the Disciple-maker.
